Professor Wolfgang Wahlster, pioneer of ai in Germany, joins Schaffhausen Institute of Technology advisory board

August 19, 2021, Schaffhausen, Switzerland – Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) announced today that Wolfgang Wahlster, a professor and pioneer of AI in Germany, will join SIT´s Strategic Advisory Board. The current portfolio and future plans of SIT in the field of MI sparked interest from Professor Wahlster, who was approached by SIT as an expert for its Strategic Advisory Board with a focus on AI.

This year’s IT skills programme comes to an end, celebrating 28 graduates

On August 3, 2021, the 3-week course that brought together 28 people with migration background came to an end. The students graduated from the IT Skills Programme organized by Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) and Acronis. Programme participants were trained in essential technology and employment topics designed to provide them with the resources to establish a better career and brighter future.

Testing the power of quantum computers: quantum legend Gisin publishes new paper

Quantum legend and Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) and University of Geneva (UniGe) Professor Nicolas Gisin publishes another paper in npj Quantum Information on quantum computing. The article, “Demonstrating the power of quantum computers, certification of highly entangled measurements and scalable quantum nonlocality” tests the power of state-of-the-art IBM quantum computers in correlation experiments inspired by quantum networks.
