Testing the power of quantum computers: quantum legend Gisin publishes new paper
Quantum legend and Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) and University of Geneva (UniGe) Professor Nicolas Gisin publishes another paper in npj Quantum Information on quantum computing. The article, “Demonstrating the power of quantum computers, certification of highly entangled measurements and scalable quantum nonlocality” tests the power of state-of-the-art IBM quantum computers in correlation experiments inspired by quantum networks. The SIT and UniGe Professor, alongside colleagues, led a series of experiments designed to explore the ability of IBM quantum computers to realise quantum correlations that defy classical models and certify entangled operations. Their results demonstrate the ability of quantum computers to outperform classical limitations and certify scalable entangled measurements.
