April, 5, 2022 – The Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) and Jacobs University of Bremen provide students with an enriched Master program to respond to the most in-demand jobs in tech, science and business science and launches the annual programming contest for full tuition-paid admittance to the program.

BREMEN, Germany, September 23, 2021 – Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) has announced it has become the main shareholder in Jacobs University Bremen. A partnership between SIT and Jacobs University Bremen will drive interdisciplinary science, technology and education in Europe and beyond.

Manuel will be responsible for research in software engineering applied to embedded systems, artificial intelligence-based systems and quantum-based systems. Manuel was employed from 2011 until 2014 at University of York as a Senior Lecturer, where he carried research efforts in the area of Large-Scale and Complex IT Systems. He was researching software testing and quality. He created the automated random testing tool YETI, graduated four doctoral students, and 15+ MSc students.

The ongoing crisis in Afghanistan has blocked many people from fleeing the dangerous situation. One of these such people, an SIT student and promising IT-professional and bright-minded person, was blocked upon her attempt to return to Switzerland to continue her studies and be safety. Her safety, particularly following the news of the Kabul airport explosions, became not only a priority for SIT and subject of concern the Swiss Foreign Ministry, but a symbol of hope for all the young, inspiring persons.
