International Technology Conference Hosted by Schaffhausen Institute of Technology and Jacobs University Bremen
How can innovative technologies such as machine learning, quantum technologies or advanced materials contribute to a better and more sustainable world in different fields such as economics, education or science? World-renowned science, technology and business experts will lead discussions on December 15 and 16, 2021, during SIT & JUB Insights in Technology Conference 2021, available both online and on-campus at the Jacobs University in Bremen. Joining the conference, Sir Konstantin Novoselov, distinguished Physics Nobel Laureate and Professor of Physics at the National University of Singapore, will hold a public talk and give a keynote speech on the next generation of advanced materials.
The hybrid event is expected to attract over 6,000 online participants from around the world, as well as approximately 200 on-site guests. Lectures and discussion panels will focus on four topics: machine intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced materials and business sciences. Registration is open for individual talks or for the entire conference.

- Mete Atature, Professor of Quantum Physics at the University of Cambridge.
- Andrea Ferrari, Member of SIT Strategic Advisory Board and Director of the Cambridge Graphene Center.
- Fabio Pammolli, Member of SIT Strategic Advisory Board and Professor of Economics and Management at Politecnico di Milano.
- Andrey Ustyuzhanin, Director of the Laboratory of Methods for Big Data Analysis at the Higher School of Economics and AI/MI expert consultant at SIT.
The third annual conference is a joint effort by SIT and JUB and takes a special look at the interdisciplinarity of transformative science technologies and how they can shape a better and more sustainable world.

The on-site portion of the event will take place subject to and in compliance with all required Corona regulations, including the currently mandatory 2G check. Only persons fully vaccinated against or recovered from COVID-19 will be able to participate in the event. Should live participation no longer be possible due to governmental restrictions, the entire conference will take place online.
