Earthquake: Constructor group sends medical resources, in synch with Humanity First

As we continue to closely monitor the situation following the earthquake that has tragically impacted Turkey, Syria, and neighboring communities, Constructor group remains committed to providing relief and support to those affected by this disaster.

Constructor group has joined forces with the global NGO Humanity First International (HF) to bring medical teams and supplies to the region, establish tent medical camps, deliver approximately 2,5 K EUR of medicine, and organize its freight. In synch with the local authorities of the devastated city of Antakya in Turkey, Constructor group sent on Feb 12th a corporate Falcon from Frankfurt, Germany, to the devastated city of Antakya, Turkey. The flight expenses are covered by the founder of Constructor group, Serg Bell, and his wife Oznur Bell, who have already proceeded to a 50k USD donation for emergency relief through the fundraising platform Groundbreaker: (https://groundbreaker.kindful.com/?campaign=1238475).

The doctors volunteering with HF have been active in various emergency relief missions, such as in Africa, Ukraine, or the floodings in Germany. The equipment sent is intended for the medical camps offering treatment of first-injured people and a field kitchen in cooperation with the Turkish local and government authorities (AFAD). HF is a global charity organization active in over 100 countries with eight main programs, including Global Health, Water for Life, and Disaster Relief, and resources such as hospitals and orphanages. The support provided to Antakya is done via HF Germany, where the Constructor University is located, and in coordination with the UN World Food Programme (WFP).

Also over the past weekend, Constructor University, in partnership with the local communities in Bremen, Germany, has organized a supplies collection on campus, which dozens of students have attended. The emergency goods (shelter equipment, food, garment) collected are to be sent to the affected areas with support from the Turkish Consulate beginning of the following week.
