David Basin is a full professor at ETH Zurich and heads the Information Security Group. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University and his research focuses on Information Security. He is Editor-in-Chief of Springer-Verlag's book series on Information Security and Cryptography, and a Fellow of the ACM and IEEE.
