A Senior Web Developer is responsible for web development efforts for multiple corporate websites. Supporting the execution of marketing projects by creating websites, landing pages, web templates and required integrations. The candidate in this role is expected to be a multitasker and a detail-oriented specialist, who can drive projects to successful completion, following the best practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the marketing team to update, maintain and develop corporate websites.
  • Develop custom, responsive web pages, templates and components using design components and style guides.
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write semantic, standards-compliant HTML and CSS reusable code for future use.
  • Develop a Drupal and WordPress CMS with improvements to the layout, bug fixing, management of paragraphs, UX and behavioral improvements for elements.
  • Create HTML templates for emails mainly on the Hubspot platform.
  • Update landing pages on Hubspot, create and implement scripts for particular elements, fix templates.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent and accessible web experiences.
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate web development processes with internal teams and freelances to get the desired result.
  • Collaborate with a content team to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on website development experience including Drupal and WordPress CMS
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution for full-scale global website redesign, rebuild, and optimization.
  • Capability to translate UX or functional requirements into technology solutions
  • Strong expertise in PHP, OOP and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and media queries
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, jQuery)
  • Experience working on Drupal 8 +
  • Experience with CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Good knowledge of API Integrations
  • Technical aspects of running a website, including analytics, UX, technical and content SEO, domain management, content management system, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, platform tools, localization, and budgeting.
  • Experience with control version systems (Git)
  • Highly proficient in HTML5, CSS3, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance)
  • Architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
  • Understanding of the digital marketing, work experience in a close collaboration with a marketing team will be a strong plus
  • Knowledge of web data tracking mechanics such as Google Analytics and advertisement tracking pixels
  • Working knowledge of web design tools, such as Adobe XD and Figma
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and remotely in a widely distributed workforce
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
